After 24 years without performing a concert in Vancouver, Jimmy Buffett returned to the stage with a special guest.

Sarah McLachlan joined Mr. Margaritaville and the Coral Reefer Band at Rogers Arena for a tribute to the late, great Tom Petty.

That was followed by a Buffett tribute to another recently deceased U.S. musician, Glen Frey.

Buffett, 70, is not only a musician. He’s also a restaurateur with investments in chains named after two of his greatest hits, “Margaritaville” (of course) and “Cheeseburger in Paradise”.

Last night, according to Mr. B., it wasn’t Hockey Night in Canada, it was “margarita night in Canada”.

His Parrotheads were out in force sharing images of the show over social media
