Hey from Kansas

Just still excited from the Kansas City show. I hadn't seen Jimmy in about 10 yrs. Before the Alan Jaskson fans descovered him, and he stilled played the smaller venues...
I'm a huge fan and have been since about 1978 or 79. I was about 13 when I first seen Jimmy at Starlight Theater in KC. It was a small outdoor venue that held about 2000 seats... We had cheap seat tickets and was in the back, but it was still pretty close to the stage.

Man, that was it for me. Jimmy could take you all over the world with his songs, without ever leaving the farm. That was pretty cool for a kid stuck in the heartland. Kansas is about as far from the ocean as you can get, but I knew I had to get there someday. He opened my eyes to how big this old world is...
Saturday, 4-21-12, was my 5th time to see Jimmy. I felt like a kid again...
