But theres no tailgating at First Midwest Bank Amplitheater at Tinley? Are they going to make an exception? Way back in the day when it was The World Music Theater there's was tailgating but they ate tailgate Nazis there now. Hope they can hook it up! There must be Tailgating for this Parrothead!

Agreed - this is my closest venue but if there is indeed no tailgating, which the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater web site says, I will be going elsewhere. Hopefully there will be an Alpine Valley show...

I really hope they can work something out with FMBA! Crossing my fingers. I would prefer to hit up both shows...there will be an Alpine show which should be announced very soon!

I spoke with someone from 1st Midwest and they said they were in discussions about allowing tailgating. Apparently there should be news on the topic on www.livenation.com this Friday or soon after with more details closer to the event. So they are considering it since it's Buffett.

The latest word we recieved from ticket master and Tinley Park village hall is they will be opening the gates 3 hours before the concert. To me that's not worth it. I'd rather drive the extra time and get the full experience of the day. It's not a show if you don't get to tailgate!!!

The latest word is that gates will open at 3:30p and tailgating will be allowed.
